IT Business Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary IT interface for Precision Electronics R&D groups, building trusted relationships with business leaders and engineering stakeholders.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize R&D requirements to translate them into actionable IT roadmaps and specifications.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and rapid prototyping (PoC/MVP) to deployment and maintenance.
• Coordinate project activities across multiple teams within Agile/SAFe environments and manage internal/external vendor relationships.
• Drive innovation by identifying and piloting emerging technologies, specifically focusing on AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions.
• Ensure business continuity by applying ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
• Monitor cloud cost optimization and promote DevOps, MLOps, and security compliance practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT project management or IT Business Partner roles, ideally within R&D or engineering domains.
• Proven experience in end-to-end application delivery management, specifically with cloud-based and data-intensive solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Azure cloud platforms and Azure data/AI services (e.g., Databricks, Kubernetes, AI Foundry).
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML technologies, including Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Python and key ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jira).
• Solid understanding of the ITIL framework and Agile/SAFe methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Precision Electronics, connectivity, or R&D engineering environments.
• ITIL Foundation or higher certification.
• Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM, or SAFe Agilist).
• Cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect or Azure AI Engineer.
• Knowledge of embedded software design processes and electronic systems validation.
