IT Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Acquire deep knowledge of the group’s project and product portfolio and technology trends
• Identify new business opportunities through public and private sector tender portals
• Participate in the definition of the group’s commercial and business development strategy
• Manage client accounts and analyze international IT tendering opportunities
• Develop compelling bid content including executive summaries, value propositions, and technical responses
• Lead end-to-end bid processes from identification to submission
• Collaborate with technical teams to transform complex information into business value proposals
• Manage resources and timelines for high-quality proposal submissions
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings

Requirements

• University degree and postgraduate studies in Informatics, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in bid writing, software sales, or similar roles
• Experience managing bids for complex software projects
• Strong understanding of bid lifecycle, proposal writing, and contract negotiations
• Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail
• Strong project management skills for handling multiple concurrent bids
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the software industry or providing IT services to the public sector
• Experience working in international or multicultural environments
• Proficiency in SharePoint or Confluence
• Knowledge of AI, digital transformation, cloud technologies, and enterprise software
