IT Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Capture, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements for legal and security workflows
• Translate complex processes into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
• Create process flow diagrams using Visio to map current and future state workflows
• Develop and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and UAT documentation
• Support Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews
• Manage data integration efforts by defining source-to-target mappings and transformation rules
• Validate and reconcile data using SQL and formats such as JSON and XML
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and external vendors
• Ensure all technology solutions align with legal, regulatory, and security standards to support audit readiness

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Application Delivery, or Product Ownership
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience with enterprise platforms in Legal Operations, eDiscovery, Governance, or Security/Access Management
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and reconciliation
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and data formats like JSON and XML
• Experience using Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Expertise in process modeling tools like Visio and test management processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within Legal, Compliance, or Financial Services environments
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Knowledge of data governance, audit frameworks, and Change Management processes
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Exposure to security and risk tools such as IAM, CyberArk, or SIEM platforms (Splunk/Datadog)
