IT Business Analyst, AVP

Responsibilities

• Work with external clients and internal business users to gather and understand user demands
• Analyze business workflows, explore scenarios, and evaluate existing business models and future solutions
• Create BA artifacts including functional specifications, user stories, wireframe models, and data mapping
• Identify, solve, or escalate potential issues and risks during the development life cycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results in a timely manner
• Participate in agile development teams in a Product Owner or Business Analyst capacity
• Organize and drive meetings and maintain strong relationships with internal and external counterparties

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in an analyst role driving software development projects or working in agile environments
• Degree in Finance, IT, or a related field
• Profound knowledge of financial products
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle
• Proficiency with database tools and SQL
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with platforms such as Murex, Global One, Summit, or Calypso
• CFA certification
• Experience working within an agile development model
