IT Automation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Participate in IT automation projects and coordinate activities with stakeholders and vendors
• Maintain inventory and documentation for automated systems, including validation, SOPs, and network details
• Review and improve user and role management processes for automated systems
• Identify enhancement opportunities such as Active Directory integration and OPC connectivity
• Manage backup, restoration, archival, and disaster recovery processes for automated systems
• Maintain technical documentation for PLC, HMI, SCADA, and related systems
• Manage server and client systems, including software upgrades, patching, and version control
• Support the evaluation of new technologies and automation initiatives

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field
• Experience with systems such as MES, Data Historian, SAP Fiori, or BMS
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance requirements
• Understanding of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and backup systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Visio, or SAP
• Strong project management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
