IT Assurance and Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Carry out all IT audits and act as the point of contact for audit-related escalations
• Perform periodic technology assurance and audit reviews to assess system controls
• Present assurance results, risk rankings, and remediation priorities to senior leadership
• Drive efficiencies through control automation and common assurance methodologies
• Prepare and review assurance reports, summaries, and root-cause analysis memos
• Lead the execution of comprehensive assurance plans under the Head of IT Governance
• Manage assurance team utilization and project timelines
• Conduct ongoing monitoring and validation of management action plans
• Develop standard assurance work programs and automated workflows
• Coach and develop direct reports to strengthen technical and leadership competency

Requirements

• 5 to 8+ years of experience in IT audit or compliance
• Experience performing risk assessments, technology assurances, or leading SOX programs
• Sound understanding of control environments and frameworks such as CoBIT, PCI-DSS, COSO, or ISO 27001
• Proficiency in IT systems, General Computer Controls (GCC), and Cybersecurity
• Excellent analytical, investigation, and project management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications: CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CGEIT, or PMP
• Experience in BFSI, FinTech, IT Consulting, or IT Services
• Experience implementing Continuous Control Monitoring or Control Automation
• Previous experience working in the GCC region
