About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, delivery, and ongoing operation of CRM platforms and commercial systems to support Gilead China's business priorities.
  • Serve as the primary IT partner to China Commercial and CP&O stakeholders for CRM roadmap planning and execution.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of Veeva China CRM, including deployment, release planning, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with global CRM teams to support Vault CRM deployment and readiness across Asia Pacific markets.
  • Oversee DevOps management for CRM-adjacent systems such as Territory and Targeting, Sales Forecasting, and other commercial technology platforms.
  • Drive business readiness, user adoption, and change management to maximize the value of technology investments.
  • Lead and develop a team of contractors and external resources supporting CRM platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, specifically with CRM platforms and enterprise application delivery.
  • Proven experience leading the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise CRM or customer-facing commercial platforms.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed environment with shared platforms and enterprise governance.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the life sciences, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Hands-on experience with Veeva CRM, Vault CRM, or comparable commercial platforms in the life sciences sector.
  • Experience with Agile, product-based delivery, and DevOps practices.
