IT Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to team members and guests, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly to ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations.
• Assist in the setup and configuration of computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Monitor and maintain wired and wireless networks to guarantee connectivity and performance.
• Implement network security measures and conduct regular audits to protect data integrity.
• Install and maintain servers, switches, routers, and other network devices.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory, licenses, and warranties.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to enhance network connectivity and performance.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safeguard guest information with strict confidentiality.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware, and software.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with guests and stakeholders.
• A proactive, hands-on attitude with a strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with hotel-specific applications and Property Management Systems such as Opera or Simphony.
