IT Asset Specialist

Responsibilities

• Track all on-site assets, including inbound and outbound shipments
• Maintain accurate records within inventory systems and contribute to process improvements
• Document full asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal
• Conduct regular audits across multiple tracking systems
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate RMAs with vendors
• Prepare sites for incoming shipments and inspect inbound packages
• Package and coordinate outbound shipments with delivery partners
• Manage physical and system access through internal data center portals
• Partner with IT Asset Manager and Data Center Technicians to align on standards

Requirements

• Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Experience using spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
• Familiarity with database systems
• Experience with ticketing systems
• Basic computer component knowledge
• Strong communication skills in a technical environment
• Demonstrated ownership mindset for data integrity

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to technical environments such as IT or data centers
• Basic understanding of IT hardware and infrastructure
• Familiarity with Jira
• Familiarity with Asset Panda
