IT Asset Management Operation Analyst

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventories of software and hardware assets throughout their entire lifecycle.
• Review quotes, purchase orders, contracts, and GRN documentation to ensure accurate system entry.
• Audit system information to verify data integrity and identify discrepancies.
• Track software licensing, renewals, compliance requirements, and hardware warranty status.
• Support procurement activities by coordinating with vendors and validating asset requests.
• Develop and maintain asset management documentation, including policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Security, and Procurement teams to align asset management with organizational goals.
• Generate reports and dashboards regarding asset utilization, cost optimization, and compliance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, Business, or a related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in Accounting, Inventory Management, or IT Operations.
• Experience with ITAM/ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Zoho, Tally, Freshservice, SCCM, or Intune.
• Strong understanding of IT lifecycle management and asset tracking methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ITIL practices.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing, audit, or finance-focused role.
