IT Asset Management Intern

Responsibilities

• Support the daily management of IT assets for end-users within the EU region
• Maintain accurate records of laptops, mobile devices, tablets, and peripherals
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing and recovering hardware
• Help with ordering, imaging, packaging, and shipping laptops
• Assist in tracking mobile devices and service subscriptions
• Document asset management processes to ensure consistent compliance
• Collaborate with international stakeholders and participate in alignment meetings with the US IT team
• Execute a dedicated internship project, such as inventory validation or process optimization

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an HBO or WO degree in IT, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
• Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks
• Strong interest in IT operations, logistics, or asset management
• Ability to work independently after an initial onboarding period

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ticketing or asset management systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Basic knowledge of the hardware lifecycle, including imaging and inventory management
• Strong Excel skills, including the use of filters and pivot tables
• Interest in process improvement and technical documentation
