IT Application & Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data management strategy to support safety goals and objectives
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights on safety performance
• Develop data management solutions including collection, storage, and analysis
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data requirements
• Maintain data quality control processes to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
• Collaborate with IT to implement new software, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and user training
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to data management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry
• Strong background in Safety data and reporting
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in business analysis (CBAP or CMC)
• Experience with cloud-based business analysis tools and platforms
