IT Application Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration and operational management of enterprise applications across development, test, staging, and production environments
• Manage application deployments, upgrades, patches, and environment configurations
• Provide strategic guidance on application management, support models, and operational improvement initiatives
• Coordinate troubleshooting and resolution of complex application and environment issues
• Collaborate with delivery teams, vendors, infrastructure teams, and support functions to maintain operational stability
• Monitor application performance, availability, reliability, and operational health
• Ensure systems comply with organisational governance, security, and operational standards
• Develop and maintain operational procedures, support documentation, and environment management processes
• Support change management, release management, and environment governance activities

Requirements

• Extensive experience managing enterprise application environments
• Strong understanding of operational governance, ITIL, and support processes
• Experience supporting large-scale ICT delivery and operational programs
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement capability
• Experience with environment management, deployments, and operational resilience
• Previous experience working within Federal Government or on Federal government projects
• Existing Baseline Security Clearance or the ability to obtain clearance
