IT Analyst - Networks

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support for network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, SDWAN, VPN, and firewalls
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex network issues to ensure service continuity
• Administer and optimize firewall technologies and remote access solutions
• Monitor and optimize network performance, capacity, and cost using advanced tools
• Collaborate with Service Desk, Desktop Services, and infrastructure teams to streamline escalations
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to the internal knowledge base
• Support operational processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management
• Assist with disaster recovery planning and service continuity testing

Requirements

• Degree in IT or equivalent industry experience
• Proven experience in enterprise network environments
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, SDWAN, VPN, and firewall technologies
• Solid understanding of IPv4, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP fundamentals
• Experience supporting cloud networking environments (Azure or AWS)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical approach to problem-solving and ability to work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional networking certifications such as CCNA or CCNP
• Experience with ITIL frameworks (V3/V4) and ITSM tools like ServiceNow
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Meraki Dashboard or WUG
• Experience working within large, global, matrixed organizations
