IT AI Intern

Responsibilities

• Support AI and automation initiatives by helping staff understand core AI concepts and practical applications.
• Identify processes suitable for AI or workflow automation using Microsoft 365, Copilot, and Power Automate.
• Document AI use cases, data requirements, and workflow steps.
• Assist with evaluating AI output accuracy and usability.
• Provide IT support by troubleshooting hardware, software, printer, and network issues.
• Assist with imaging, configuring, and deploying laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
• Support onboarding and offboarding tasks, including workstation setup and account configuration.
• Maintain documentation, how-to guides, and knowledge base materials.
• Use the IT ticketing system to log, track, and resolve support requests.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Strong interest in AI concepts, automation, scripting, or process improvement.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work onsite at our downtown St. Louis office.
• Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic experience with PowerShell or Python.
• Exposure to workflow tools such as Power Automate or M365 automation.
• Prior experience in help desk or technical support roles.
