Issue Management Lead Analyst

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the comprehensive lifecycle of issues, including control gaps and compliance findings from internal and external reviews.
• Support issue quality reviews to ensure strict compliance with Issue Management Policy, Standards, and Procedures.
• Facilitate Business/Function Quality Control engagement for high-impact remediation programs.
• Maintain a robust tracking and reporting inventory, utilizing metrics to provide visibility on control gaps and escalate risks.
• Provide constructive challenge to stakeholders to ensure the implementation of sustainable solutions that address root causes.
• Utilize data analytics to assess remediation trends, identify key risks, and develop insights for process improvement.
• Partner with internal audit, business units, and senior management to drive resolution and promote a culture of risk awareness.
• Develop critical BI dashboards, management dashboards, and visual KPIs to monitor risk thresholds.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions within the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of control development, execution, and the ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks.
• Proven experience in implementing sustainable solutions and improving complex processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate risk and control activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at the senior management level.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in designing and implementing management dashboards and BI reporting.
