iSolved Benefit Specialist

Responsibilities

• Administer health and welfare benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability.
• Manage client-sponsored plan setups, carrier enrollments, reconciliations, and ongoing support.
• Process daily status change reports, including insurance enrollments, terminations, and qualified life events.
• Respond to benefits inquiries regarding plan provisions, enrollments, and status changes.
• Participate in open enrollment activities and work directly with carriers to resolve claims and eligibility issues.
• Process requests for Life, Disability, State Disability, and Paid Family Leave.
• Conduct audits and quality checks to ensure the accuracy of benefits-related data and deductions.
• Perform analysis and reconciliations to resolve errors between payroll systems and carriers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in benefits administration.
• Experience working in or with insurance agencies or brokers.
• Professional Employer Organization (PEO) experience.
• Proficiency with iSolved HCM (PrismHR experience is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, specifically intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, PPA, and ERISA.
