ISA Certified Arborist

Responsibilities

• Prune trees to remove dead, damaged, or diseased branches and improve structure and safety
• Perform crown thinning, raising, and reduction to promote healthy growth
• Execute safe tree removals using appropriate equipment such as chainsaws, ropes, and cranes
• Inspect trees for signs of disease, pests, or structural problems and recommend corrective actions
• Supervise arborist laborers and tree care crews to ensure safe practices and smooth operations
• Maintain detailed records of tree care activities, inspections, and maintenance schedules
• Inspect and maintain tools, trucks, and work equipment to ensure proper working conditions
• Train team members in tree identification, removal procedures, and disease treatment

Requirements

• ISA Certification
• Proven experience in tree disease diagnosis and pruning techniques
• Proficiency in tree climbing and the use of aerial lifts
• Experience operating heavy equipment including chainsaws and woodchippers
• Ability to supervise crews and manage tasks on large job sites
• Ability to work in environments with excessive noise and follow strict safety protocols
