IS Trainer

Responsibilities

• Schedule and deliver new hire training for attorneys and staff in the New York office.
• Research, plan, and organize comprehensive training programs and "Just-in-Time" training sessions.
• Participate in firm-wide projects including regression testing, software prototyping, and business needs analysis.
• Develop training materials such as bulletins, QuickCards, handouts, and digital content.
• Collaborate with Global Services to ensure smooth software rollouts and implement best practices.
• Maintain strong working relationships with office Directors of Admin and Support Services to identify and resolve training needs.
• Manage the setup of conference rooms and virtual classrooms for training sessions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience delivering technical training in a corporate or legal environment.
• Proficiency with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, iManage, and Microsoft Teams.
• Hands-on experience with Apple iOS/macOS devices.
• Required experience with legal applications including Litera Compare and Litera Create/NTD.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for diverse skill levels.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or technical school training.
• Previous experience working within the legal industry.
• Experience with Aderant Expert Time, InterAction, Foundation, Camtasia, or Captivate.
