About the role
Responsibilities
- Schedule and deliver new hire training for attorneys and staff in the New York office
- Research, plan, and organize comprehensive training programs and "Just-in-Time" sessions
- Develop training materials including bulletins, QuickCards, handouts, and written program guides
- Participate in firm-wide projects such as regression testing, software prototyping, and business needs analysis
- Collaborate with Global Services to ensure smooth software rollouts and implement best practices
- Maintain strong working relationships with local office Directors of Admin and Support Services
- Manage the setup of conference rooms and virtual classrooms for training sessions
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience delivering technical training in a legal or corporate environment
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terminology for diverse users
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with the capacity to prioritize work efficiently
- Proficiency with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, iManage, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with Apple iOS/macOS and legal applications such as Litera Compare and Litera Create/NTD
- Ability to work overtime as necessary and lift up to 25 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or technical school training
- Previous experience working within the legal industry
- Experience with eLearning production software such as Camtasia, Captivate, Aderant Expert Time, or InterAction
