IS Manager – Software Asset Management

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational execution of the enterprise Software Asset Management (SAM) program
• Manage and develop a team of SAM Analysts, providing mentoring and performance management
• Serve as the operational lead for software audits and true-up activities to ensure compliance
• Drive license optimization and cost avoidance initiatives through proactive monitoring
• Oversee data accuracy and reporting within ServiceNow SAM Pro
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, and Legal on renewals, forecasting, and technology rationalization

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree and 8 years of Information Systems experience
• 8 to 12 years of experience in SAM, ITAM, or IT Vendor Management
• Proven experience managing enterprise software audits (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Adobe)
• Deep understanding of various license models including SaaS, subscription, core-based, and user-based
• Proficiency with ServiceNow SAM Pro or similar SAM tooling
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting and forecasting
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in regulated or GxP environments
