IS Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between business users, application vendors, and the Application Support organization
• Provide day-to-day operational troubleshooting for system issues, bugs, and fixes
• Implement processes and controls to ensure 100% accuracy in daily processing and billing
• Perform user and integration testing for application upgrades, patches, and hot fixes
• Run SQL queries on settlement and billing application data to validate interfaces and data accuracy
• Develop business requirements documents based on business processes and stakeholder meetings
• Support users by creating and maintaining training documentation, desktop procedures, and delivering training for system upgrades

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Economics, or 3 years of equivalent work experience
• 1-2 years of retail energy experience
• Proficiency with Excelergy Revenue Manager
• Experience with SQL Server for extracting information from databases
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with macros and VBA
• Experience with every phase of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
