IRAD Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee technical IRAD execution efforts to bring technologies and products to engineering and production
• Collaborate with Technical Director and Engineering Fellows to advance space-based electronics capabilities
• Execute IRAD projects to cost and schedule while ensuring compliance with federal funding rulesets
• Support capital investments aligned with long-term IRAD strategy
• Coordinate radiation testing with the Radiation Manager to ensure space-grade standards
• Provide quarterly reports on budget, execution metrics, and Technology Readiness Levels (TRL)
• Maintain project documentation including risk registers and milestone trackers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, etc.) or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in the Aerospace Industry with Advanced Space Products
• 10+ years of experience in a small-to-mid-sized business environment
• Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Jira
• US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent credential
