IP Litigation Associate

Responsibilities

• Handle intellectual property litigation including legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Manage discovery processes and collaborate with experts
• Advise clients on clearance, validity, infringement, and enforcement of patent and other intellectual property rights
• Litigate matters in federal court

Requirements

• Law firm experience handling intellectual property litigation
• Admission to the State Bar or ability to immediately waive in
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience litigating matters in federal court
• Registration to practice before the USPTO
• Familiarity with patent prosecution and preparation of patent applications
• Technical expertise in mechanical, electromechanical, software, or electrical inventions
