IoT & Edge Computing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Integrate PLC, SCADA, and BCS systems in read mode using OPC-UA, Modbus, and MQTT
• Deploy and operate industrial edge devices utilizing Linux and Docker
• Integrate industrial sensors and IoT gateways into the data platform
• Manage local storage and data buffering at the edge
• Coordinate with IT and OT cybersecurity teams to ensure secure integration

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science
• 5-6+ years of professional experience
• Proven experience in industrial plants and OT/IT projects
• Proficiency with PLC/SCADA, OPC-UA, and MQTT
• Hands-on experience with Node-RED, Ignition Edge, Linux, and Docker
• Knowledge of InfluxDB and OT networks
• English proficiency at a B2 level (Upper Intermediate)
• Willingness to travel to plants for on-site work within Spain and potentially abroad

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Spanish
