IoT and Automation Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web platforms for IoT and automation products
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop software and hardware components
• Implement data analytics and forecasting tools for predictive maintenance and part life forecasting
• Assist in server administration and infrastructure support for the IoT platform
• Support R&D and product testing initiatives in collaboration with the Hydraulic Lab
• Develop internal engineering tools and applications as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Java, and C/C++
• Experience with web and client application development
• Experience with database schema design and implementation
• Experience working within Linux-based environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embedded systems and IoT device integration
• Familiarity with Linux device and server administration
• Exposure to signal processing and machine learning for industrial applications
• Knowledge of remote device management and over-the-air (OTA) updates
• Background in Electrical Engineering
