iOS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve foundational Swift frameworks used across multiple apps and platforms including caching, state management, and component systems
• Improve app performance regarding startup, responsiveness, memory, and battery life
• Strengthen reliability by reducing crashes and improving error handling and release processes
• Embed with product engineering teams to understand infrastructure needs
• Develop internal tooling and automation using Bazel, CI, and testing systems to increase engineering velocity
• Translate complex constraints into clean abstractions and simple APIs

Requirements

• Strong iOS engineering fundamentals including Swift, concurrency, and networking
• Proficiency with the Xcode ecosystem and UIKit/SwiftUI
• Experience with platform-level problems such as frameworks, architecture, or performance
• Ability to drive projects to completion and navigate ambiguous challenges
• Strong communication skills for cross-team execution and interface alignment
• Data-driven approach to measurement and experimentation
