About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and develop high-performance native iOS applications and APIs
- Create and maintain source code, ensuring high standards for accessibility, localization, and offline functionality
- Implement video playback and media experiences using native iOS frameworks
- Integrate AI-assisted development workflows, including code generation and refactoring using tools like GitHub Copilot
- Conduct routine maintenance, debugging, and performance profiling using Instruments and Xcode
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, UX, and QA teams to ensure applications meet technical requirements
- Write and execute unit and UI tests using XCTest and XCUITest to ensure software quality
- Document the software development process, including design evaluations and test results
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in native iOS development within production environments
- Strong proficiency in Swift, including modern concurrency patterns and async/await
- Hands-on experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit
- Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and iOS fundamentals
- Deep knowledge of multi-threading, concurrency, and performance optimization
- Experience integrating REST APIs and handling JSON payloads
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative branching strategies
- Experience with XCTest and XCUITest frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building consumer-facing apps at scale, specifically in media, streaming, or live events
- Familiarity with Combine, GraphQL, or advanced Swift concurrency
- Experience with DevOps/build tooling such as Fastlane, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of device capabilities including location services, Bluetooth, or notifications
