IOC Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time dashboards across Keel sites, including power (UPS, PDU, generators), cooling (CRAC/CRAH), environmental sensors, network, and fire safety (VESDA)
• Respond to automated alerts within SLA timeframes, performing triage via runbooks and analyzing trends in Grafana, SCADA, BMS, and ION
• Manage incidents from detection to resolution, including root cause analysis and coordination with on-site teams and vendors
• Write precise shift reports to ensure clear handovers of ongoing incidents and risks
• Manage site access control and security system arming/disarming
• Identify recurring trends to contribute to the continuous improvement of runbooks and operational procedures

Requirements

• Experience in electrical infrastructure or related fields (monitoring, troubleshooting, or field work)
• Proficiency in reading dashboards and alert triage, with experience in Grafana, Zabbix, or equivalent
• Rigor in ticketing system management (Jira, ServiceNow, or equivalent)
• Ability to write clear, structured written communications under pressure
• Basic networking knowledge including switching, routing, and connectivity troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a NOC, IOC, data center, colocation environment, or energy sector
• Exposure to Bitcoin mining, high-density computing, or industrial OT systems (SCADA, BMS, ION)
• Familiarity with fire suppression systems (VESDA, FM200) or precision cooling solutions
• CompTIA A+, Network+, DCDC, or equivalent certification
