Investor Relations Director

About the Company

Radiant is an El Segundo, CA-based startup building the world’s first mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactors. The company’s first reactor, Kaleidos, is a 1-megawatt, fail-safe microreactor designed to provide critical power for hospitals, data centers, and military bases.

Responsibilities

• Build the investor relations function from the ground up, including strategy, messaging, and reporting cadence
• Partner with the CFO and Executive team to support financing processes, materials development, and diligence coordination
• Prepare and maintain core IR materials such as investor presentations, data rooms, and financial models
• Serve as a key point of contact for existing investors, managing quarterly updates and ad-hoc communications
• Shape the investor narrative by translating financial performance and product velocity into a compelling story
• Partner with Marketing to ensure consistent investor-facing messaging

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, buyside investing, equity research, or corporate development
• Proven track record supporting fundraising processes at high-growth, venture-backed companies
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, specifically in Excel
• Experience managing data rooms and coordinating multi-party diligence processes
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA
• Willingness to work extended hours and travel for investor meetings

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to deep-tech, energy, defense, or infrastructure sectors
• Familiarity with the nuclear or advanced manufacturing industry
• Established network across institutional investors, VC, or investment banking
• Public company IR experience
