Investor AML Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Lead the management of the Investor AML and FATCA/CRS team in Toronto, providing technical and operational leadership
• Manage and develop strong client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact for queries and escalations
• Oversee new and ongoing investor populations to ensure reviews are completed timely and follow established policies
• Drive the development and implementation of procedures to meet internal controls and global regulatory requirements
• Provide client-facing support during due diligence visits, sales pitches, and regulatory inspections
• Perform final review and quality assurance on appointed client investor files
• Monitor team performance and provide developmental opportunities and regular one-to-one meetings for direct reports
• Handle complex operational complaints and ensure a strong focus on the control environment

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance or Fund Administration (Transfer Agency experience preferred)
• Proven experience in client relationship management
• Strong understanding of AML, FATCA, and CRS standards and global AML policies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• ACAMS certification or other relevant AML qualification
