Investor AML Officer

Responsibilities

• Lead the management and development of the Investor Anti-Money Laundering and FATCA/CRS Team in Cayman
• Provide technical and operational leadership to ensure case managers follow policies and procedures
• Manage and develop strong client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact for queries and escalations
• Oversee new and ongoing investor populations to ensure timely reviews and regulatory compliance
• Drive the development and implementation of procedures to meet internal controls and external regulatory requirements
• Handle complex operational complaints and ensure a strong focus on the team's control environment
• Support client servicing through board reports, presentations, and onsite due diligence visits
• Manage high-risk cases, including PEP and other high-risk investor profiles
• Participate in recruitment, selection, and professional development of team members

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• 6-8 years of experience in Fund Administration, preferably within Investor Services or Transfer Agency
• At least 4 years of experience in people management
• Strong knowledge of Cayman AML legislation and FATCA/CRS standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Proven experience in client relationship management
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• ACAMS certification or other relevant AML qualification
