Investments Analyst

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior investment team members to conceptualize, structure, and analyze new deals and financing with private and institutional counterparties
• Own and manipulate financial models to determine the financial feasibility of potential development projects
• Prepare and maintain proforma for portfolio properties
• Support the development process through market analysis, construction cost estimates, and operational assumptions
• Prepare investment documents for senior management and the Investment Committee
• Maintain and track the firm’s investment pipeline
• Support the due diligence process for investment opportunities
• Gather and interpret data related to economic trends and real estate markets (mixed-use, residential, office, retail, and hospitality)
• Coordinate with internal and external teams regarding due diligence on title, zoning, engineering, and design
• Research real estate market conditions through location assessments and comparable sales analysis

Requirements

• Relevant experience in private equity, real estate funds, management consulting, investment banking, or with world-class developers
• Solid understanding of financial concepts including NPV, IRR, equity multiple, yield on cost, and cap rate
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, or finance
• Superior financial modeling and business skills
• Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
