Investment Stewardship Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engagement with companies regarding enterprise value creation, corporate governance, and financially material sustainability factors.
• Conduct thorough company-specific research to identify and set objectives for relevant engagement topics.
• Monitor progress toward engagement milestones and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce research and marketing materials related to governance and sustainability.
• Analyze shareholder meeting agendas to ensure accurate and timely proxy voting in accordance with guidelines.
• Support the firm’s Proxy Committee by providing research and recommendations on industry trends.
• Provide support for institutional and wealth management clients through meeting attendance and RFP responses.
• Monitor global regulatory developments and contribute to public policy consultations.

Requirements

• At least seven (7) years of experience in a relevant field, such as a global corporation, asset manager, or asset owner.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Proven experience in corporate governance, stewardship, or corporate sustainability.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully engaging with senior executives and directors.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and explain complex business and financial topics to various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fundamental investment research experience.
• Understanding of integrating governance or sustainability into investment processes or corporate operations.
