About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement measurement tools to monitor operational and compliance risks related to investment services
- Support client reporting related to investment and ancillary services
- Handle investment-related data extracts, analysis, and report composition
- Support the organization with investment service-related data queries and reporting
- Identify, assess, and propose treatments for operational risks
- Proactively participate in identifying compliance risks and developing mitigation measures
- Contribute to the development of investment-related internal regulations and best practices
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, operational risks, financial services, or related fields
- Proficiency in SQL for data mining and database querying
- Expertise in using Excel and MS Access (including macros) for dataset analysis
- Full proficiency in English (written and spoken) for Pan-Baltic communication
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within international teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Higher education degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Business Management
- Programming skills for data and analytics, such as VBA or Python
- Knowledge of financial instruments, risk measurement tools, and regulatory requirements
- Advanced understanding of risks associated with investment services
- Proficiency in local Baltic languages
