Investment Performance Analysis - Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform investment performance analysis and attribution, including absolute and relative portfolio performance to factors like security selection, asset allocation, and currency
• Reconcile and update portfolio/benchmark performance and resolve security-level discrepancies at the transaction, position, and pricing levels
• Retrieve, validate, and upload data from various source and vendor systems into department applications
• Validate the completeness and accuracy of data within performance, risk, and analytics tools
• Collaborate with Global Performance Measurement, Risk, Operations, and IT staff to resolve data issues and escalate problems
• Develop, create, and validate new performance analytical reports
• Troubleshoot functional and quantitative issues to ensure high-quality report production

Requirements

• MBA in Finance from a reputed institute
• 6-8 years of post-graduation experience in a financial firm
• Strong understanding of Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivative instruments
• Deep knowledge of the Investment Management industry, including security analysis and portfolio management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

• FRM, CFA, or other relevant financial industry certifications
• Direct experience in Performance Measurement
• Exposure to POINT, Yield Book, or Factset
