Investment Oversight AVP

Responsibilities

• Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for operational processes.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain efficiency.
• Create reports and presentations on operational performance for internal senior stakeholders.
• Lead teams or collaborative assignments, setting objectives and coaching employees to ensure high standards.
• Manage risk and strengthen controls in relation to investment operations and governance.
• Oversee key operational processes including Corporate Actions, Transfers, and Settlements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Investment Operations.
• Expertise in Transfers, Settlements, and Corporate Actions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence up to Director level.
• Robust understanding of the regulatory landscape and the control environment.
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate complex issues and articulate them clearly in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in change and transformation within a banking environment.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Proficiency in digital and technology tools relevant to investment oversight.
