Responsibilities

• Lead deal execution from sourcing to closing, with a heavy focus on underwriting and execution (70%)
• Build and scale proprietary M&A agents and AI product suites
• Collaborate with Investment Directors and executive teams to evaluate acquisitions
• Manage relationships with business owners, advisors, and bankers
• Prepare financial models, valuations, and operational analyses
• Drive the M&A process including financial, sales, marketing, and operational diligence
• Draft investment memorandums and integration strategies
• Manage diligence processes involving legal, technology, HR, and tax advisors
• Assist in the finance, operations, and integration of newly acquired businesses

Requirements

• Strong academic record with a degree in Business or Finance
• 1-6 years of M&A experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or corporate development
• Expertise in building financial models and structured analysis
• Strong understanding of technology and the software industry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to translate high-level objectives into actionable work plans

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with buy-and-build models
• Knowledge of Vertical Market Software (VMS) and technology sectors
