Investment Fund Onboarding Specialist, Associate

Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding documentation for new transactions
• Maintain excellent client care and relationships with existing and potential Japanese clients
• Communicate effectively with external parties including auditors, lawyers, authorities, and Tokyo-based liaisons
• Maintain and control contracts related to fund clients
• Support the arrangement of documents and agreements for fund set-ups, structural changes, and liquidations
• Provide administrative support, including the preparation of presentations and reports
• Monitor and report risks of error to the line manager to ensure sound judgment and risk awareness

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
• Native Japanese speaker with business-level English fluency (written and verbal)
• 1-2 years of experience in the financial services industry
• Knowledge of investment fund schemes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience servicing Japanese clients' investment funds domiciled in the Cayman Islands or Luxembourg
• Previous experience in client services within the financial sector involving investment fund schemes
