About the role

Responsibilities

  • Track and evaluate card acquisition campaign performance using data-driven insights to optimize strategies.
  • Forecast financial results for acquisition strategies using advanced statistical techniques such as time series modeling, cohort analysis, and Monte Carlo simulations.
  • Build comprehensive financial business cases to support strategic initiatives, quantifying ROI, payback periods, and sensitivity to key drivers.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to align financial objectives with business goals and accelerate card acquisition.
  • Design and implement new reports and dashboards to deliver timely financial results and insights to senior leadership.
  • Define and monitor KPIs and success metrics to drive continuous improvement in campaign performance.
  • Enhance financial controls and streamline processes through automation to reduce cycle times and error rates.
  • Prepare executive-ready presentations and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages with actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • CFA, MBA (Finance), or Post Graduate degree in Statistics or Economics.
  • Proven experience in credit card strategies, financial analysis, or related financial services areas.
  • Strong financial analytical skills with the ability to fuse finance and data capabilities.
  • Experience in team management, specifically managing Associate-level populations.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and arrays.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and present conclusions concisely.
  • Excellent communication and partnering skills with the ability to work autonomously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in finance, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Background in Data Science is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Python, or Tableau.
