Investment Counselor - Senior Vice President

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary client contact and trusted investment advisor for ultra-high net worth clients.
• Provide expert investment advice, determine suitability, and identify product-specific opportunities.
• Leverage local networks and existing relationships to introduce new clients to Citi Private Bank.
• Build and manage a successful practice by providing tailored investment solutions and wealth planning.
• Combine knowledge of traditional and alternative investments to optimize client service.
• Partner with Bankers to prospect for new business and identify cross-selling opportunities in lending and trust services.
• Execute trades and advise clients on brokerage activity across various asset classes and jurisdictions.
• Ensure all business decisions adhere to compliance, risk management, and ethical standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in wealth management or investment advisory.
• Robust expertise in providing sophisticated investment advice and solutions.
• Required licenses: S7, S63 (or S66), and S31 (SIE is a prerequisite for S7).
• Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or MBA.
• Financial Advisor (FA) designation.
• Experience working with ultra-high net worth individuals ($25mm+ net worth).
