Investment & Corporate Banking – Power & Utilities, Associate

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, origination, structuring, and execution of M&A, equity, debt capital markets, and leveraged finance transactions.
• Participate in client meetings and business development activities to cultivate long-term relationships.
• Draft and prepare detailed pitch books, marketing materials, and industry analysis for various Power & Utilities sectors.
• Conduct complex financial modeling, valuation, and comparable/relative value analyses.
• Perform due diligence and model corporate finance alternatives, including capital structure development and acquisition finance.
• Coordinate with internal and external resources to facilitate product group idea generation and solution development.
• Manage junior resources to ensure high-quality deliverables for client transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics.
• Minimum of 3 years of investment banking, corporate finance, or capital markets experience at a top-tier global bank.
• Deep expertise in the Power & Utilities industry with mandatory experience in industry-related banking transactions.
• Advanced proficiency in FactSet, CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, and Microsoft Office.
• Possession of Series 79 and 63 licenses.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
