Investment Client Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead and co-lead investment consulting client engagements, ensuring high-quality advice and timely delivery of services.
• Provide strategic advice to pension investment committees, including asset allocation and asset/liability modeling studies.
• Manage client relationships to establish a trusted advisor role and provide superior relationship management.
• Support the execution of large-scale engagements and partner with internal lines of business to meet client objectives.
• Mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior associates to assist in their professional development.
• Produce work in accordance with Professional Excellence requirements and effective resource utilization.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree is required.
• Five or more years of progressive investment experience, ideally in consulting, investment management, or portfolio management.
• Strong technical skills related to asset/liability-based investment strategies and liability relative risk management.
• Proven track record of managing client relationships and a strong client focus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player in a professional services environment.
• Willingness to travel moderately as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualifications such as CFA, FSA, MSc, or MBA.
• Familiarity with customized stochastic modeling tools.
