Investment Banking Director, Media & Telecommunications

Responsibilities

• Originate and execute M&A, equity, and debt financing transactions within the Media & Telecom sector
• Develop and maintain senior-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives
• Lead deal teams through all phases of transaction execution, including financial analysis, valuation, structuring, and negotiations
• Mentor and oversee junior bankers, fostering a high-performing team environment
• Collaborate across product partners such as ECM, DCM, leveraged finance, and restructuring to deliver integrated solutions
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to strategic sector coverage initiatives
• Prepare and deliver client presentations, pitch materials, and internal committee documentation

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of investment banking experience
• Deep expertise in the Media or Telecom sectors
• Proven track record of executing M&A and capital markets transactions
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing deal teams and mentoring junior staff
• Bachelor's degree required

• MBA or advanced degree
