Investment Banking Associate

Responsibilities

• Design, structure, and execute M&A transactions, including buy-side, sell-side, and strategic advisory mandates
• Conduct extensive quantitative economic, industry, and company research and analysis
• Perform complex financial modeling, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable companies, precedent transactions, LBO, and merger combination models
• Draft and prepare high-quality pitch books and client presentations with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
• Assist in the evaluation, due diligence, and execution of M&A transactions
• Facilitate idea generation and solution development in coordination with relevant groups across Mizuho | Greenhill
• Support the development and continued cultivation of client relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or economics and a minimum of 3 years of investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A experience at a top-tier investment bank
• OR an MBA concentrating in Finance or Economics
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets, and risk & pricing analysis
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience in Industrials & Diversified Industries investment banking
• Proven aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information into innovative product solutions
