Investment Associate, Asia Credit

Responsibilities

• Work directly with senior investment professionals on new and existing deals
• Perform in-depth analysis on potential investment opportunities and build a detailed understanding of industries and competitive dynamics
• Build and update detailed financial models and perform valuations using various methodologies
• Analyze financial statements and collect company-level operational and financial data
• Identify potential investment risks and consider potential mitigants
• Prepare Investment Committee (IC) memorandums and present investment recommendations
• Interact with investee companies and industry participants to manage positions and gather insights
• Assist in deal execution, ongoing management, and the exit of investments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, private equity, special situations, or transaction advisory
• Advanced MS Excel and financial modelling skills
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with numbers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Chinese
• Strong academic performance
