Investment Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the Investment team in managing the buy-side investment pipeline and tracking active opportunities
• Build and refine complex financial models in Excel, including NPV and rNPV methodologies for asset and business valuations
• Conduct scientific and financial due diligence on prospective licensing and equity investment opportunities
• Develop high-quality presentation materials, investment memos, and deal summaries for internal reviews and Board communications
• Monitor the competitive investment landscape, tracking deal activity, valuations, and emerging biotech trends
• Coordinate with internal Technical, Legal, Finance, and Operational teams to support transaction execution

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or corporate development
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, finance, business, or a quantitative discipline
• Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to interpret complex investment models
• Scientific literacy sufficient to evaluate drug development programs and engage with R&D teams
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize scientific and financial data into actionable insights
