Investment Analyst III – Commercial Mortgage Loan

Responsibilities

• Support VP and Investment Officers with market research, initial loan submission, and underwriting analysis.
• Coordinate and manage the closing process for new loans, including draft preparation, fee collection, and lease/financial analysis.
• Assist in the asset management of the existing mortgage loan portfolio through loan valuations and lease analysis.
• Monitor loan defaults and problem loans, coordinating third-party reports and assisting with management or leasing agreements.
• Manage owned investment real estate properties to maximize returns in leasing, budgeting, and operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc portfolio reporting for internal and external purposes.
• Administer loan and real estate management systems, including process improvements and training.

Requirements

• BA or BS in business, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the commercial real estate and commercial mortgage industry.
• Strong computer and technology skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong financial management, mathematical, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
