Investment Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and implementation of innovative investment and guarantee solutions to expand internet access in emerging markets
• Screen and analyze new business opportunities by building and reviewing complex financial models for debt and equity transactions
• Prepare detailed investment proposal documents for senior management, covering risk and return assessments
• Conduct industry and market research, including sector mappings, trend analysis, and benchmarking of Digital & AI investments
• Support business development efforts by preparing pitch books and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders
• Monitor portfolio performance and support client credit and integrity risk rating assessments
• Organize webinars and conferences to disseminate lessons learned and industry knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a renowned university, preferably in Finance, Business, or Economics
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, commercial banking, consulting, or asset management
• Strong quantitative and numerical skills with experience developing Excel-based financial models
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous exposure to the digital infrastructure, digital development, or TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) sectors
• Proficiency in Bloomberg or Capital IQ
• Knowledge of Spanish or French
