Investment Analyst

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze historical and projected financial statements to support investment decisions.
• Create and maintain complex financial models for infrastructure transactions.
• Conduct industry, market, and integrity (KYC) research to assist in business development.
• Prepare investment committee materials, indicative proposals, and internal documentation.
• Support the structuring, negotiation, and closing of new transactions.
• Monitor portfolio investments, including credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and compliance with environmental and legal requirements.
• Participate in due diligence processes and engage directly with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Engineering (or equivalent).
• Fluency in both English and Portuguese (verbal and written).
• 2+ years of relevant experience in project finance, private equity, investment banking, or commercial banking.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and advanced financial modeling skills.
• Ability to analyze complex financial information and form actionable conclusions.
• High level of motivation, commitment to ethical standards, and willingness to travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure transactions in Latin America and the Caribbean, specifically Brazil.
• Specialized experience in project finance modeling.
• CFA Level 1 certification or higher.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
• Familiarity with AI tools for workflow automation.
